Life Jackets Save Lives

by Administrator 15. May 2009 06:01

Life jackets are very important when you or others are out boating.  Life jackets have consistently shown that they help save lives while on boats.

Life jackets are very similar to seat belts  because there use typically means a reduction in serious injury.

Many individuals feel that life jackets are bulky, or that they would be able to swim better without wearing one.  A life jacket is important because if a collision were to occur while boating,  the person could be knocked-out.  If you are knocked-out,  you are unable to swim and could drown in a matter of minutes.

If you are out boating, verify that you have enough life jackets on board for everyone.
