Hotel Guests Relocated After One Death and Two Others Seriously Sick

by Administrator 18. December 2009 02:35

Hotel guests at a luxury hotel in Miami have been relocated to another hotel following an outbreak of bacteria in the water.  The bacteria has been responsible for the death of one hotel guest, and at least two others becoming sick.

The hotel guests were sent to other hotels in hopes of preventing others from coming into contact with Legionnaire's disease.  Individuals can become sick from this bacteria by breathing in mist or vapor that contains the bacteria.

An investigation into the outbreak of the bacteria is currently occurring. More information should be available at a later time.

What if your insurance company does not honor its policies?

by Administrator 16. December 2009 06:26

When many individuals' cars or homes are damaged, they often are reassured by the fact that their insurance company will help cover the damages. However, even if the insurance company is supposed to cover the damages, the company may try to avoid making some or all of the payments.

When this occurs, individuals are not at a loss. They can take legal recourse by hiring an attorney and filing an insurance bad faith claim. This claim is especially appropriate if the individual believes the insurance company has broken its inherent guarantee of good faith and fair dealing.

If you or anyone you know has been a victim of insurance bad faith, contact the Tampa insurance bad faith lawyers of Beltz & Ruth, P.A., at 800-235-8978.

Why is it necessary to get your car checked routinely?

by Administrator 8. December 2009 06:29

Car manufacturers recommend that drivers get their cars checked routinely. These car checks have a number of purposes.

One of the most important purposes is to ensure that all of the car's safety devices are working properly. These safety devices include brakes and seat belts. Without these devices, drivers and passengers stand a greater chance of being seriously injured in a car wreck.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in a car accident, contact the Tampa car accident lawyers of Beltz & Ruth today at 800-235-8978.

What should you do if you have a car accident on your property?

by Administrator 3. December 2009 04:53

While most car accidents occur outside of one's home, some happen on an individual or family's own property. When car accidents take place at home, the injured party and anyone helping the injured party should take a number of steps.

First, they should ensure that the injured party or parties are not seriously injured. Once they are all safe, one of the parties may want to contact the police if they expect to file a personal injury claim.

Also, all parties involved should obtain estimates on the damage. The medical expenses, however, will often depend on the facts and circumstances of the case.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in a car accident on your home property, contact the Tampa car accident attorneys of Beltz & Ruth, P.A., at 800-235-8978.
