Police are investigating the deaths of three pedestrians who were killed in hit-and-runs while walking along dark and dangerous highways. Police officials said they are trying to determine why these three men were walking so early in the morning in such a remote investigation. 

The investigation includes the death of two men who died early Friday on State Road 70 and the death of one man who died early Sunday on U.S. 301. When asked whether alcohol played a part in any of the men's deaths, police officials said they are still waiting for the results from toxicology tests.

Eighteen-year-old Dejuan Williams was murdered Tuesday night at his home in Manatee County. Williams was shot by an intruder who fired one bullet before fleeing from the scene.

Earlier Tuesday evening, Williams was out with friends when he learned that his sister was home alone with a male guest. Williams returned home and discovered that the house's back window was broken.

Williams and his friends found the intruder hiding near a shed. When Williams confronted the suspect, the man pulled out a handgun and fired.

Police officials said they located two suspects, as well as the gun allegedly used in the murder.

A 66 year-old man from Florida was recently killed in an accident while riding on his motorcycle with a group of other riders.

The man was trying to pass a pickup with a trailer attached to it, when the pickup truck took a turn in front of the motorcycle causing the collision.  The Florida man was thrown from the vehicle and landed on top of the trailer.  

The man was the owner of several dealerships for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  He was attempting to attend a motorcycle rally to be held in Sturgis, South Dakota before the accident took his life.

A 60 year-old man was killed Friday as he was snorkeling off of the Florida coast.  The man was snorkeling off of the coast of Steinhatchee when the accident occurred.

The man was underwater when a 21-pontoon boat with multiple passengers struck the man.  The boat stopped and tried to help the man pulling him into the boat, performing first aid, and taking him to shore.  

Once emergency workers arrived at the scene,  the man was pronounced dead from his injuries. No charges have yet been filed in the accident. The accident currently remains under investigation.
