Arrest Made in Tampa ATV Accident

The Florida Highway Patrol has made an arrest in an ATV crash that injured four Tampa teens Saturday.

According to Sergeant Larry Kraus, a 17 year-old male was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of the crash and driving without a valid driver's license. Police say that all four teens involved were traveling southbound on Hicks Road in their Honda Sports Trac ATV early Saturday morning when the accident occurred. The teens pulled out in front of the suspect's truck as it was traveling westbound on Denton Avenue.

The suspects 1992 Ford Ranger crashed into the ATV and all four teens were ejected from the vehicle. The injured teens, who were all 16 or younger, were transported to Tampa General Hospital for treatment. All four victims are expected to make a full recovery.
