Man dies in crash after fleeing from police

A man died in a car crash after trying to escape from police Wednesday. According to police reports, the driver was being followed by a police car after he ran a stop light. 

When the officer tried to pull him over, the man drove through a red light and hit two cars. His car stopped when it hit a light pole. The man was reported dead at the scene of the accident.
