Passenger dies when car flips on Interstate 275

The passenger of a Kia sports utility vehicle flew out of the car and died from injuries when the vehicle flipped on Interstate 275.

The driver of the vehicle, Xavier Ramirez, was driving under the influence and lost control of the vehicle while entering an exit ramp.

The victim, Gerald Holdge, died at the scene, according to police reports. Troopers also said that Ramirez registered a 0.267 blood-alcohol level and only suffered minor injuries.
