Police officer injured in car accident

A police officer's car hit another vehicle Monday. The officer was responding to a motorcycle accident report when the car pulled in front of his car. 

According to police reports, the driver of the other car was in violation of the police officer's right of way. The police officer sustained serious injuries in the accident, while the other driver incurred minor injuries.
