What should you do if you have a car accident on your property?

by Administrator 3. December 2009 04:53

While most car accidents occur outside of one's home, some happen on an individual or family's own property. When car accidents take place at home, the injured party and anyone helping the injured party should take a number of steps.

First, they should ensure that the injured party or parties are not seriously injured. Once they are all safe, one of the parties may want to contact the police if they expect to file a personal injury claim.

Also, all parties involved should obtain estimates on the damage. The medical expenses, however, will often depend on the facts and circumstances of the case.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in a car accident on your home property, contact the Tampa car accident attorneys of Beltz & Ruth, P.A., at 800-235-8978.
