Frank J. Currie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Furman University in 1981. He received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami in 1985. While attending the University of Miami, he served a litigation clerkship specializing in asbestos litigation. From 1985 through 1991, he practiced insurance defense law including wrongful death, motor vehicle collisions, products liability, civil rights, hospital law, and medical malpractice. From 1991 through the present, he has practiced exclusively on behalf of personal injury victims with an emphasis on medical malpractice, medical products, and other negligence related causes of action. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985, The Pennsylvania Bar in 1987, and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle District and Southern District of Florida. Representative appellate opinions include Stakley v. Allstate, Ketchen v. Dunn, and Normius v. Eckerds. He has participated in over 200 Circuit Civil Jury Trials and representative verdicts include O'Dell v. Samuels, Sarasota Co., Leibrook v. Sharpe, Sarasota Co., and Gross v. Barbour, Sarasota Co.
